Life Story1
Early Life: Born out of wedlock, he was raised by his paternal grandfather. At the age of 14, he became an apprentice under the famous artist Andrea del Verrocchio in Florence. In 1472, he became a painter and joined the guild. By the age of 20, he had become a master artist of the Compagnia di San Luca.
Mid-term: In 1482, he was hired by the Duchy of Milan and engaged in creative and research activities in the noble court. He created his most famous work The Last Supper in Milan. In 1504, he was commissioned to create The Battle of Anghiari. In the early 16th century, he began to paint the Mona Lisa.
Late Stage: In 1513, Leonardo went to Rome to serve Pope Leo X. In his later years, he was employed by King Francis I of France and created works for the king and other French nobility.

Paintings
The Mona Lisa: One of his most important works, famous for the sitter's enigmatic smile. It is a world-renowned painting, representing the peak of portrait painting.
